Fabrikant Earl Deobald was brutally beaten left to die in a staircase that was lite on fire. It was a miracle that he survived and was saved. Over 150 stitches to his head, boot indents all over his body from being circle beaten. His entire uniform was covered in blood no one could recognize him but the correctional office badge on his shoulder. Attempted murder is by the inmates is more like it.

Earl Deobald was brutally beaten and left for dead in a staircase lite on fire during the Headingley Jail Riot. Attempted murder is more accurate. 150 stitches to his head, boot indents all over his body and both eyes blacked out. The leadership failed the correctional officers on duty that day and much of the truth behind this event got covered up. Earl Deobald never shared his story with the people of Winnipeg Manitoba because he has never fully recovered from this violent nightmare. Earl Deobald is a hero that sacrificed his own well being on the night of the jail riot where he was determined to pull the green button to lock down the jail which saved many lives.
